Overview
Walden Works completed the replacement of multiple picnic shelter roof systems at Saluda Shoals Park, improving durability and ensuring long-term performance in a high-use public environment. The project focused on upgrading aging structures while maintaining the park’s functionality and appearance.
The scope of work included the removal of the existing metal roof systems across all shelters, followed by inspection and replacement of any deteriorated or rotten decking to provide a solid substrate. We then installed new synthetic underlayment to enhance moisture protection, along with new metal roof panels designed for durability and weather resistance. New metal trim components were also installed to ensure proper detailing, clean transitions, and a finished appearance across each structure.
